Description

Sporobolus airoides (Alkali Sacaton grass) A native warm season bunch grass that blooms starting in June and continues for many months. Great for erosion control or to attract birds into your landscape. The lacey seed heads create a  pink haze above the grass. This grass can do well in all soil types just avoid planting it in areas that are water logged. This grass is commonly used by foraging animals or for nesting materials.
