Description

An old-fashioned apple produced for dessert or eating fresh. Originated in Minnesota in 1943 and named after Roosevelt's "Fireside Chats." This is an extremely cold hardy tree that produces large, crisp, juicy, and sweet fruit. Flame orange flesh matures to red. Long shelf life. Can be pollinated with: Cortland, Empire, Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Red Delicious, Red Regent or Jonathan. Allow 2-4 years to bear fruit.
