Description

Winner of the Award of Garden Merit, this European columnar variety is prized for its colorful foliage and year-round interest. Beautiful reddish purple leaves adorn this tree from spring through late fall before turning golden bronze. Its angular branches and overall vertical stature are stunning in the winter landscape. Plant solo as a specimen plant or multiple for a screen. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils but must be well-draining. If planted in full sun, the tree may need extra water.
