Description
Handsome, columnar tree with deep purple, crinkled foliage all season long. Silver bark adds winter interest. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils as long as it is well-draining. Similar to the Dawyck Purple Beech in growth habit and maturity width, but only reaches 30 - 40' in height. Does not do well with secondary water.
