Crabapple, Royal Raindrops®

Malus 'Royal Raindrops'

Description

This unique crabapple variety is a real show-stopper! Bright, delightfully fragrant, magenta flowers nestle atop red foliage that turns burgundy in summer before displaying orange-red in the fall. Birds will frequent this tree as they are attracted to its persistent red 1/4" fruit. Good resistance to fire blight & mildew, fair resistance to scab and rust. Secondary water is not a problem, and is drought resistant once established.
