Description
An edible, sweet/sour fruit in the Gooseberry family, 'Alpine Currant' grows naturally as a mounded shrub that can stand alone in the landscape or be planted as a hedge. Produces greenish flowers in April. Resistant to fire blight and can tolerate an occasional drought.
