Hymenoxys acaulis

Description

Hymenoxis (sun dancer daisy) A small native wildflower with yellow daisies appearing over top of low basal foliage. This plant requires minimal care, and has a long bloom season. Thrives in hot sun, poor soils, and drought. A great option for a low maintenance cheery pop of yellow in the garden. Leave on the spent flowers to encourage reseeding to help the plant naturalize.
