G&B Acid Planting Mix

Description

Acid Planting Mix is a great amendment for all Utah soil types. As the soil in Utah tends to be more alkaline, this acidic mix will assist in balancing out the pH of your native soil. This is also a great amendment for all types of berries to assist in sweeter fruit development.

A blend of fir bark fines, Canadian sphagnum peat moss, worm castings, and washed sand. Oyster shell and dolomite lime are added as pH adjusters (pH=5.4). This blend is specifically formulated with proper nutrients and a fast draining texture for acid and shade loving plants such as azaleas, camellias, conifers, ferns, hydrangeas citrus, dogwoods, maples, rhododendrons, blueberries, etc.
