Description

Sorghastrum nutan (Indian grass, Yellow Indian grass) A native warm season bunch grass with thick blue-green leaves and large, plume like, golden brown seed heads. Important species to a tall grass prairie. The grass will stay short for most of the season reaching its full height before blooming in early autumn. Used often by foraging animals.
