Description
Standing out among other Japanese Maples, 'Orangeola' showcases an array of colors throughout the season. Leaves emerge bright orange before fading to deep green or purple. Simultaneously, fresh new flushes of red-orange overtones create a delightful multi-tone effect. In fall, foliage transitions into a bright orange-red. Though this lovely deciduous, ornamental tree with its compact, weeping, mounding habit is more heat-resistant than most Japanese maples, it still prefers afternoon shade.
