Larch, Horstmann's Recurved

Larix decidua 'Horstmann's Recurva'

Description

This small deciduous conifer tree has twisted, wispy branches that are reminiscent of Medusa hair. Bright green needles appear in spring, lighten in summer, and eventually turning a golden yellow in the fall. In addition, rosy buds emerge from the curly branches, making this a fantastic winter garden addition. Deer resistant.
