Description
Schizachyrium scoparium (Little bluestem) Slender bluish blades that reach near 3 feet late summer and take on red, iridescent fall color.
This grass is a durable native that is most naturally found in a tallgrass prairie setting. We offer many cultivars with varying colors and growth habits. Birds are attracted to the small seed heads for winter foraging.
