Description

The Satsuma Plum is a large Japanese variety of dark, solid red skin and dark red flesh. The fruit is firm and juicy. The Satsuma plum needs to pollinate with another Japanese Plum tree to allow them to produce fruit. You can choose to pollinate with any Japanese Plums such as Toka, Shiro, Santa Rosa plums are great options to use as a cross-pollinator. These trees typically take two to five years to reach the age that they will successfully produce fruit.
