Description
Like Lobelia cardinalis, fulgens has bright red flowers but with dark red foliage instead of the green leaves of cardinalis. Grow in full sun to part shade in miost soil to water 2'' deep. Height 12 - 36'', spread 12 - 18'' . Unlike cardinalis it does not overwinter well in the pond. Mulch in the perennial bed for winter. Zone 6
