Description

A small, decorative and elegant accent tree. These beautiful specimen have a profusion of spring flowers that are purplish-red while budding and turn to fuchsia pink when in bloom. The flowers will appear before the new foliage emerges. The heart shape leaves will be a rich dark green in summer turning bright yellow in the autumn. The mature canopy will have a rounded shape.


Appalachian Redbud will adapt to many soils, except very wet ones. It grows best in full sun to part shade.
