Rose Shrub, Austrian Copper

Rosa foetida bicolor

Description

A hardy spreading shrub rose, 'Austrian Copper' covers itself with showy, single red-orange flowers highlighted by a yellow reverse. Occasionally it will produce all yellow blooms and packs a most unusual scent which is a mixture of fruit, licorice, and cinnamon. Prune regularly to control suckering.
