Serviceberry, Autumn Brilliance

Amelanchier x grandiflora 'Autumn Brilliance'

Description

Appropriately named for its outstanding red, orange, mauve and coral fall leaf color, this single trunk or multi-stem tree is equally spectacular in the spring as it bursts forth white flowers, followed by small dark-colored edible berries. Prefers sandy loam, well-drained soil for optimum growth. Extremely hardy and low maintenance, but may require some pruning to correct leggy growth.
