Spurge, Japanese

Pachysandra terminalis

Description

Also called Chinese Fever Vine, this evergreen perennial groundcover is a popular choice under trees or difficult shady areas. It is extremely hardy and drought tolerant once established. White flowers emerge in spring but is inconsequential as the main attraction is its jagged leaves and year-round greenery. Can be invasive in some areas. Recommend thinning out plants periodically to prevent fungal disease.
