Description

Yucca filamentosa is a durable, low-maintenance plant that is a great addition to your xeriscape or rock garden. Upright, sword-like foliage has curly filaments. Tolerant of poor soils and drought.

Varieties we typically carry include:

  • Color Guard - variegated green and yellow or cream stripes, 3-4' high and wide cluster at maturity; no bloom

  • Adam's Needle - dark green foliage with 5-8' tall white flower spikes emerging in late spring

  • Bright Edge - green blades with gold variegated edges; 5'-8' tall stalk with large, creamy white bell-shaped flowers.

  • Golden Sword - green and gold variegated blades with 5'-8' tall stalk with large, creamy white bell-shaped flowers.

  • Ivory Tower - blade-like leaves that form a basal rosette. Mature plants will send a tall (5'-8') stalk with large, creamy white bell-shaped flowers.
