Zelkova, Village Green

Zelkova serrata 'Village Green'

Description

Unlike most Zelkovas, the 'Village Green' has a more rounded growth habit and attractive exfoliating bark. Typical redeeming features of Zelkova, such as drought and poor soil tolerance, apply to this variety. They are also a perfect choice for those with secondary water. In the fall, leaves turn orange, gold and russet red.
